First Day in Girdwood

Well, today was one giant tour around Girdwood and the surrounding area. Started the day with two hikes in Girdwood, then a simple drive around tour. After that I went out to Portage to see the lake and surrounding glaciers, way cool. Also, got to stop a nature center to see bison, black bears, brown bears, bald eagle, owls, elk, moose, and a few other animals. Last we went to Anchorage to pick up Joseph.

Scott, Jackie, Jen, and Joseph all seem awesome. This group is truely a blessing to me. I have had no troubles and seem to get along great. The trip has started out on the right path and seems to be running almost too smoothly.
